Project Description

Our client Cambian Education provides a national network of special schools for children with substantial complex needs. Spetisbury Construction has completed a series of projects for Cambian, the largest is at Hill House School. This project in Hampshire included the refurbishment of residential and teaching facilities alongside renovating existing buildings. Construction activity had to be sensitive to the school’s special needs and so we had to acknowledge that the vulnerable pupils at school had to have their routines disrupted to a minimum. Construction works started across multiple areas and included large elements of piling, using in situ concrete and traditional construction techniques. The relationship with our client and Spetisbury’s understanding of the operating procedures was paramount to the successful completion of the school buildings.
