Project Description
Spetisbury Construction were asked to complete extensive upgrade works to this facility, throughout the production and office buildings. We worked with Farrow & Ball to develop a method of working that allowed construction work to proceed without noticeable impact on the company’s manufacturing process.
The project included the construction of new office accommodation, as well as extensive work within the main production building.
We worked with Farrow & Ball to successfully deliver these extensive building upgrades, and we understand that there was no impact to their trade.
The Challenges of the Project
Spetisbury Construction are used to working on logistically challenging projects where the actual process of building is a relatively small part of the overall planning process.
It is not uncommon and quite understandable for the building operator to want to keep their operations running as efficiently as possible even though extensive building work is being carried out. The ongoing operation of the facility was therefore right at the centre of our planning.
