Project Description

Moorlands College near Christchurch in Dorset is a Christian College that had a requirement to expand their facilities, with a new Chapel and Canteen building. These two projects ran side by side and were completed in 2015.

The chapel was in particular challenging with a complex steel frame that had many irregular angles, and had a requirement for very low air permeability. The scheme was successfully completed to the design of local architect DUA Architecture. The finished project looks superb and creates fantastic open and very light spaces.
