Project Description

Sandbanks Yacht Company approached Spetisbury Construction to construct a mixed use scheme on the Sandbanks peninsular. The scheme consisted of the construction of nine high quality houses called The Horseshoe plus a restaurant and a boat yard facility.

The scheme was technically very challenging; spread over two sites it had a substantial underground parking structure, constructed below ground water level in a tidal area. The project had in the region of fifteen close neighbours, each requiring party wall agreements. The project was successfully completed to a very high standard and is now a landmark.
